BURLINGTON, N.C. - Betty Neil Arnette, 67, of Buckner Street, died on Saturday, April 21, 2012.
Born in West Virginia on April 19, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Mabel Bragg. She had worked at Fairlane Industries and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.
She is survived by a son, Jeffery Clell "J.C." (Lillian) Meador of Snow Camp, N.C.; daughters, Frances (Steve) Coombs of Efland, N.C. and Crystal Summers of Burlington, N.C.; stepdaughters, Rose Barnes, Kathy Campbell, Sherry Wise and Trudy Collins; brothers, Clell Bragg of Snow Camp and Dale Bragg of Abraham, W.Va.; sisters, Joyce Webster of Elon, N.C., Catherine Survall of Chicago, Ill. and Phyllis Crisco of Graham; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Moore; and a brother, Kenneth Bragg.
A graveside Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, April 27, at 12 p.m. at Alamance Memorial Park with the Rev. David Frankenfield officiating.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 26, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Glen Raven Baptist Church, 335 Glen Raven Road, Glen Raven, N.C. 27215.
