BURLINGTON - Constance "Connie" Gammon Campbell Clark passed away Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013. She was born in Graham, N.C. July 24, 1927.
Connie was a true Southern lady with love for life and people. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a very loving personality. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Connie Clark was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie (Keaton) Clark; parents, Arnold and Essie Gammon; twin brothers, Arnold and Ronald Gammon; and her son, Rick Campbell.
Connie is survived by her daughters, Melonie Campbell Hall and husband Tom of Burlington and Wendy Campbell Capps and husband Hal of Mooresville; daughter-in-law, Donna Riggs Campbell of Burlington; grandchildren, Jason Hall of Burlington, Julie Hall Holt and husband Mike of Burlington, Lauren Campbell Flogel and husband Matt of Winston-Salem, Matthew Campbell of Asheville, Drew Campbell of Burlington and Meredith Capps of Wilmington; great-grandchildren, Addison Holt, Alex Holt and Claire Flogel; and sister, Dot Gammon Spiesman of Ohio.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Pine Hill Cemetery in Burlington officiated by Ben Bishop of St. Marks Church.
