SNOW CAMP, N.C. - Curtis Dean Cox, 56, of Snow Camp, N.C. passed away at his home Monday, October 8, 2012. Curtis was born October 16, 1955 in Guilford County.

Curtis fought a brave fight with cancer for 15 months. Curtis was a fun-loving man who loved traveling, music and sports. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Curtis is survived by his parents, E. Clay and Mary Cox of the home; brothers, Kenneth Cox and Diane of Snow Camp, Neil Cox and Amanda of Greensboro; sister, Debra Cox Pendry and Gary of High Point. In addition to his immediate family he has five nephews, one niece; four great-nephews and one great-niece.
The Cox family will gather to greet friends at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Trinity Worship Center in Burlington, N.C. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Darrell Cox, Senior Pastor, officiating. Entombment with military honors will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Floral Garden in High Point, N.C. Bearing the casket of Mr. Cox will be his family: Kenneth Cox, Neil Cox, Clay Cox, Bret Cox, Tyler Pendry, Austin Pendry and Spencer Pendry.
