ROUGEMONT - The Rev. Reginald David Burnette Sr. ""Willie,"" born Dec. 23, 1952 to the late Dallas Shephard and Thelma Jeffries Burnette, died April 23, 2012 at UNC Hospitals.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Abundant Life Church, 512 U.S. 70 East, Hillsborough, N.C. Family visitation will be one hour before the funeral, from noon to 1 p.m. in the church. Burial will be at Glenns Grove Church cemetery.
Survivors are his loving wife, Mary Torain Burnette; daughters, April Burnette Dubose (Kirsten) of Florida and Kimberly Burnette of the home; a son, Reginald Durant Burnette Jr. (Constance) of Holly Springs, N.C.; two sisters, Dorothy Daye (Bobby) of Raleigh, N.C. and Sheilda Sutton (Frederick) of Greensboro, N.C.; and five grandchildren.
