BURLINGTON - Delois "Lois" Maness, 82, of 1826 N.C. 49 North, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at the Hospice Home.
A native of Alamance County, she retired from Mebane Shrubbery Market and was a member of The Lamb's Chapel.
She is survived by her niece, Gloria Realini; nephews, Larry Martin and wife Alice and Phil Martin and wife Vickie; and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A.H. Maness and Ann Keck Manes; and sisters, Levonia "Boots" Martin and Evelyn "Pete" Terrell.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at The Lamb's Chapel by the Rev. James L. Rosser. Burial will be in Long's Chapel cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service at the church and at other times at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
