MEBANE - Desmond Ray "Dez" Piccini, 16, passed away April 2, 2014.
Dez was born in Warren, Mich. He was a junior at Eastern Alamance High School where he was a member of the baseball team.
He loved racing dirt bikes, fishing and classic muscle cars. Dez committed his life to Christ July 11, 2006, and always maintained his faith. He was a member of The Lamb's Chapel Church.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Amy Piccini of the home; sister, Kendra Piccini of the home; and a brother, Paxton Piccini of the home; maternal grandparents, Edward and Judy Bradley of Lachine, Mich.; paternal grandparents, Peter and Janice Piccini of Lake Wylie, S.C.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jake Piccini
The funeral service will be Sunday, April 6, 2014, at 3 p.m. at The Lamb's Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Bruce Church. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
McClure Funeral Home in Mebane is in charge of arrangements.
