GRAHAM - Doris Futrell Perry, 88, of Graham, NC passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at her residence.

A native of Wake County, she was the wife of the late Willard Grey Perry, Sr. and the daughter of the late Dewey Belton Futrell and the late Letha Hardee Futrell. Doris was a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church, a Golden Nugget, a cancer volunteer with Reach to Recovery, and a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Lynn Tapp and her husband Randy of Snow Camp, Pat Jones and her husband Dennis of Burlington, and Susan Thompson and her husband Mike of Graham; one son, Willard Grey Perry, Jr. and his wife Sheila of Mebane; two sisters, Betty Way and Frances Sutton, both of Graham; one brother, Charles D. "Jeep" Futrell and his wife Betty of Graham; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Hugh Lee Futrell.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Graham. The committal service will be held at Alamance Memorial Park immediately following the funeral service.
The family will receive friends at the Rich and Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham from 12:30 until 1:30 prior to the funeral service.
The family would like to extend its sincere gratitude to Brenda Barnes, Kathy Hollars, and Janet Walton, as well as Hospice, for the special love and care that was provided to their mom.
