Mrs. Dorothy (Dot) Virginia Teague, 86, of Snow Camp, passed away Saturday, March 16, at her home after an extended illness. Dot was born June 1, 1926, in Front Royal, Va., to the late Virginia and Dave Cameron. She married Thomas Irving (Jake) Teague in Graham on Oct. 9, 1946. At the time of her death they had been married 66 years. In addition to her parents, Dot is preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Simpson.

Surviving to celebrate Dot's life in addition to her loving husband are her three sons; Thomas Irving Teague Jr. and wife, Mary, of Hendersonville, N.C.; Everett Glen Teague and wife, Mary, of Lexington, N.C. and Robert (Bob) Dwayne Teague and wife, Maria, of Snow Camp, N.C.; seven grandchildren; Tommy, Amanda, Terra, Jacob, Conner, Blayne, Jennifer and Andrew; and two great-granddaughters, Katie and Shasha. Dot is also survived by one sister, Juanita Davis of Hillsborough, N.C., and other extended family.
Visitation is scheduled for Monday, March 18 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McClure Funeral Home in Graham. The funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, March 19, at South Fork Friends Meeting in Snow Camp at 1:00 with the pastors Andrew Needham and Richard Silver officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
