BURLINGTON - Mr. Gregory Lynn Holliman, 63, of Burlington, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012 at the Hospice Home in Burlington after a long illness.

A native of Alamance County, Mr. Holliman was the husband of Jennifer Horne Holliman, who survives, and the son of the late Ivory Hugh Holliman and the late Retha Lindsey Massey.
Mr. Holliman retired with over 30 years in the textile industry. He served with the North Carolina National Guard and he was a member of the North Myrtle Beach Surf Club.
In addition to his wife, Jennifer, of the home, Mr. Holliman is survived by his daughter, Kelly Holliman of Burlington; his son, Chad Holliman and wife, Gina, of Castle Hayne, N.C.; his grandchildren, Jack Holliman and Kate Holliman; his brother, Hugh Holliman and wife, Ellen, of Lexington and his brother-in-law, Ron Griffin of Monroe.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Holliman was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Holliman Griffin and his stepfather, Preston "Buck" Massey.
The family will receive friends at Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, from 5 to 7 P.M.
