BURLINGTON - Mrs. Helen Stone Dry Hough, 98, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Hospice Home in Burlington.
Mrs. Hough was born in Chatham County to the late Walton Stone and Lula Cole Stone. Helen lived and worked in Kannapolis before moving to Burlington in 2000. She was preceded in death by her husband Verne Dry in 1964 and husband Roy "Doc" Hough in 1998.
Survivors are her son, Jack Dry and wife Linda Dry of Graham, N.C.; two grandchildren, Jennifer Dry Walton and husband Brian Walton of West Jefferson, N.C. and Kevin Dry and wife Katie Dry of Broken Arrow, Okla. and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 27 at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
