Treasured by his friends and family, H.C. will be missed for the many loving pranks he enjoyed playing on the ones he loved. He will be remembered for wearing his signature cowboy hat and boots.
Mr. Harris was predeceased by three sisters and six brothers, whom he loved dearly. He is survived by his loving wife, Paula Harris of Durham; and two devoted daughters, Stacy Koon (husband, Jeremy Koon) of Graham, and Jill Woody (husband, Jason Woody), of Mebane. He is also survived by his three grandsons, whom he enjoyed and adored: Trevor and Landon Koon and Evan Woody.
A celebration of Mr. Harris's life will be held at First United Methodist Church at 303 N. Main St. in Graham, on Tuesday, Aug. 21.
