HAW RIVER, N.C. - Irma Faye Wrenn Adams, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 26, 2012 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Jerry Mack Wrenn and Katie Mae Rhodes Wrenn.
Faye retired from Collins and Aikman and was a member of City Lake Baptist Church. She enjoyed clogging for many years and was an avid gardener.
Survivors include her daughters, Sheila (Walter) Hensley of Burlington and Sharon "Pete" (Walter) McAdams of Mebane; son, G.T. "George" (Diane) Adams Jr. of Haw River; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Teresa Adams of Saxapahaw.
She was preceded in death by her son, J. Michael Adams; parents; and a brother, Richard Wrenn; sisters, Nadene Phillips, Kathryn Wrenn and Joe Anne Baken.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice of Alamance-Caswell for their kind and compassionate care of their mother.
A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Alamance Memorial Park by the Rev. Jeanne Neal. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times at the home of George and Diane Adams.
