BURLINGTON - Mr. James Almond Crumpler, 69, died at the Hospice Home on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at 10:45 p.m.
A native of Sampson County, he was the son of John C. Crumpler and Minnie Williams Crumpler Hargett, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and an avid golfer.
Survivors include three daughters, Tracy, Jamie and Brooke; two sisters, Brenda Wyrick and husband Stan of Elon and Faye Locke of Lexington; and two brothers, John Crumpler Jr. and wife Angie of Burlington and Larry Crumpler and wife Teresa of Fayetteville.
The funeral service will be conducted in the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Darryl Peebles with the family receiving friends following the service.
