MEBANE - James Holman Browning, age 64, son of Mary Gertrude McAdoo and the late James Walter Browning, died July 2, 2012, in his home.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Gaines Chapel AME Church. Burial will be in Gaines Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour before the funeral from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
His survivors are his mother, Mary Gertrude Browning; one daughter, Darlene Browning Stafford; two sons, James Holman Browning and Christopher Thompson (Corene); sister, Pandora Parham (Otis); and brother, Walter Darnell Browning; six aunts and four uncles.
A public viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday in Chavis-Parker Funeral Home, Hillsborough, N.C.
