BURLINGTON - James Leon "Pew" Warren, 76, of 621 Lincoln St., died June 5, 2012, at his residence.

He was son of Mr. Lawrence Nathan Warren and Mrs. Mattie Enoch Warren, both deceased, and husband of the late Mrs. Bettie Jean Moore Warren.
He was a member of Union Chapel United Church of Christ, a United States Army veteran and a retiree of Burlington Industries Williamsburg Plant.
Survivors include a son, Barry Lynn Warren of the home; grandson, Seanissee Warren; sister, Geraldine W. Yarborough (Kenneth) of Wilson and an aunt, Mrs. Grace W. Shaw of Burlington.
Other than his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary E. Thompson and a brother, Joe Louis Warren.
A public viewing will be held at Sharpe Funeral Home on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Union Chapel United Church of Christ with Pastor Rev. Ervin Milton delivering the eulogy. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the church only.
