GRAHAM - Mrs. Jane Duffey Wright, 79, of 6261 Whitney Road, Graham, died at the Hospice Home on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at 7:46 a.m.

A native of Langdale, Ala., she was the wife of Howard Wright, who survives, and the daughter of W.O. Duffey and Nellie Henderson Duffey, both deceased. She was a homemaker, an organist and piano teacher for many years. Jane was a member of the First Baptist Church of Graham.
In addition to her husband of the home, survivors include two sons, Mike Wright and wife Debbie of Fayetteville, Ga. and Steve Wright and wife Angie of Saxapahaw; three grandchildren, Vanessa Walsh and husband Steve, Lauren Wright and Andrew Wright and wife Deidre; and three great-grandchildren, Emma Walsh, Dylan Walsh and Emery Wright.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Duffey.
The funeral service will be conducted at the First Baptist Church of Graham on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Jim Wall.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence.
