GRAHAM - Mr. Jeffery Eugene Boggs, 63, of Mill Street, died at his residence Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at 12:40 a.m.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of 27 years to Donna Mae Bradshaw Boggs, who survives, and the son of Bobby E. Boggs and Mozelle Perry Boggs, both deceased.
He was a retired textile employee. Jeffery loved fishing, being outdoors and was an avid Tar Heel fan and San Francisco 49ers fan. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include two daughters, Tammy Boggs of Haw River and Nicky Turner of Mebane; three grandchildren, Whitney Turner, Connor Hughes and Caleb Hughes; and three stepchildren, Robert, Cassandra and Tanya Robinson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny E. Boggs.
The funeral service will be conducted in the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Steve Loy with the family receiving friends from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Christian Church cemetery.
