BURLINGTON - Jeffrey Lee Bayliff, 45, of Gorrell St., passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013 at his home.

A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Jerry G. and Faye Hurdle Bayliff. He was a member of Beverly Hills United Church of Christ and was a 1985 graduate of Western Alamance High School, where he was a member of the golf team. He could be found at Indian Valley Golf Course on a regular basis. Jeff worked with his father in L.T. Bayliff and Son Painting.
Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Faye H. Bayliff of Burlington; brother, Dr. Jay G. Bayliff Jr. and wife Amy of Roxboro; niece and nephew, Sarah and Joshua Bayliff.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Glenn and Fannie Barker Hurdle; and paternal grandparents, Lloyd T. and Myrtle Capes Bayliff.
The Bayliff family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory from 1 until 2:15 p.m. Sunday and at other times at the home of Jerry and Faye Bayliff, 1041 Greenwood Drive, Burlington. Following the visitation, a service from the graveside will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, in Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Jim Owen.
