GRAHAM - Mr. Jeremy Garnett Wayne Borden, 19, of 4559 Mineral Springs Road, was called home to join our father in heaven on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012.
He was a current student at Southern Alamance High School and a member of the FFA at the school. Jeremy's life revolved around his family and friends and even after his passing, he continued to help others.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Tammy and Lee Gay; father and stepmother, Vernon and Yvonne Proctor; grandmother, Bonnie Proctor; sisters, Jennifer Borden and Tara McDavid; brother-in-law, Randy Seamster; nephews, Robbie Seamster, Jayden Seamster, Branson Lowe; aunts, Michelle Borden, Susie Farmer, Janet Farmer, Brenda Cagle; and many loving cousins including Joey Murray, his best friends including Juble and so many more friends close to his heart, you know who you are.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Alamance Memorial Park, conducted by the Rev. Mike Miller. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. before the graveside service at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham. After the service, the family will receive friends at the residence with a bonfire, which Jeremy enjoyed so much with his friends.
