HAW RIVER - Ms. Judy S. Bradshaw, 56, died at her residence on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at 12:08 p.m.

A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Edgar Allen Smith, who survives, and the late Annie Duel Thomas Smith. She retired from Maximum Health Care as a certified nursing assistant. Judy was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. She loved animals of all kind and supported the Humane Society.
In addition to her father of Mebane, survivors include a daughter, Amy B. Rodgers of Haw River; son, Chris Bradshaw of Haw River; five grandsons, Jeffrey, Joshua, Jacob, Timothy and Douglas; and two brothers, Mike Smith of Haw River and Steve Smith of Charlotte.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Nelson Smith.
A memorial service will be conducted at Salem United Methodist Church on Friday, May 16, 2014, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Cindy Lister. Other times, the family will be at the residence.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to doctors and staff at Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell for the special care given to Judy.
