YANCEYVILLE - Katie Lee Scott, 68, of 1525 Main Street, passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012 at Alamance-Caswell Hospice after a brief period of declining health.
She was born in Orange County, April 12, 1944, to Lewis Scott and Hattie Allison Scott. She was a homemaker and attended Walnut Grove United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a brother, James Scott of Elon; and special friend, Ricky Martin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Robert, Hayes, Joe and Tom Scott.
There will be no visitation, but flowers are welcome.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Yanceyville Methodist Church cemetery, conducted by Pastor Wayne Jones.
