CHAPEL HILL - Mr. Kenneth Adrian Davis peacefully passed away in his sleep on June 18, 2012 at his home in Chapel Hill.
Kenneth was born on October 2, 1968 in Durham, N.C. He grew up in the White Cross community near Chapel Hill. Kenneth was well known for his care and concern for others.
He is survived by his father, James W. Davis of Chapel Hill; stepbrothers, Jimmy and Danny Williams; stepsister, Vickie Williams; four uncles; six aunts; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He enjoyed spending time with the many cousins and special friends with whom he grew up.
He was preceded in death by his mother Gayle Yocum Davis; maternal grandparents, Cyrus and Mary Yocum; and paternal grandparents, Auburn and Virginia Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 22, 2012 at Antioch Baptist Church, White Cross Road, Chapel Hill by the Rev. David Atwater and the Rev. Ernie Keck. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church. At other times, the family will be at the residence of the father, 2211 Hwy. 54 West, Chapel Hill, N.C. 27516.
