Mrs. Kiwainia Jean "Dink" Flynn Chrismon, 82, of 1437 Sandy Cross Road, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 29, 2012.
A native of Guilford County, she was the daughter of the late Fetzer R. and Willis Magnolia Steele Flynn. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Haw River. She taught Sunday school for many years at Hopedale Christian and Fellowship Baptist Church.
Surviviors include her husband, Andrew Barnell "A.B." Chrismon Sr. of the home; daughters, Sandra Jean Eborn and husband, Jerry, of Morehead City and Julie Ann Chrismon of Burlington; son, Andrew B. Chrismon Jr. and wife, Tracy, of Snow Camp; grandchildren, Jessica Eborn, Janlyn and Matthew Butler, Ashley Chrismon, and Drew Chrismon III; great-grandchildren, Addie Chrismon, Adam Chrismon, Kinley Jean Butler and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Gilmer Flynn and Bobby Flynn, and sister, Dorothy Reece.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2012, in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Walter Jones and the Rev. Ken Simpson. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. Mrs. Chrismon will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. At other times the family will be at the home of the daughter, 116 N. Saint John St., Burlington.
The family would like to thank the Hospice Home staff. Special thanks go to two loving longtime caregivers, Miss Debbie and Miss Shirley.
