BURLINGTON - T/Sgt. Larry T. Glosson, 77, of Burlington, passed away at 12:35 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill following a one-month illness.

A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Yvonne G. Glosson, who survives of the home, and son of the late T.L. Glosson and Mary Bet Tate. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service.
Surviving other than his wife are a stepson, Charles T. Rimmer of Burlington; a son Jeff Foust of Snow Camp; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vickye Somers of Elon and Shirley Hubbard and husband Ed of Lake Gaston; one brother, Wade Glosson and wife Nancy Babe of Virginia Beach; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat Taz.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Glosson.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington with the Rev. Ben Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington from 6 to 8 Friday evening and at other times at the residence.
