SMYRNA - Mr. Lawrence "Teddy" Sisk, 50, of 940 Highway 70 E, Smyrna, N.C., died Monday, May 13, 2013 at 7:24 a.m. After a battle with cancer, God called him home.

A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Diane Sisk, who survives, and the son of the late Charles James Sisk and Judy Crenshaw Sisk, who survives. Teddy loved fishing and his horses.
In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include two daughters, Beth Thompson and Ashley Sisk; granddaughters, Alexis and Harley; two sisters, Denise King and Becka Rainey and husband Lee; nephews, Chris Sisk, John Skenes IV and Christian Rainey; nieces, Ava Rainey and McKinley Rainey; great-niece, Emery Sisk; and great-nephew, John Skenes V.
The funeral service will be conducted in the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Howard Thompson. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence of a sister, Becka Rainey, 3432 NC 119 North, Mebane, N.C.
