YANCEYVILLE, N.C. - Mrs. Lemma Thelma Totten Wright of 107 Marshall Graves Road died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 in the Alamance Hospice Home in Burlington, N.C.

Born in Caswell County, N.C. on July 27, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Tom Totten and Lemma Johnson Totten. She was a member of Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a Deaconess and a member of the senior choir. She was one of the first Ushers in the new church.
She was married to Oscar Wright who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two children, Stanley Wright and Carol Wright; eight brothers; four sisters.
Her survivors are two daughters, Delois Wright Mitchell of Graham, N.C., and Carolyn Wright Foster (Larry) of Yanceyville; one son, Oscar Wright Jr. of Yanceyville; adopted daughter, Ethel Brooks; sister-in-law, Evelyn Totten; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
A viewing will be Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Fulton Funeral Home Chapel.
Family visitation will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. before the funeral service at the church.
Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 at noon at Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Everett Dickerson will deliver the words of comfort. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
