BURLINGTON - Mrs. Linda Faye Cooper Terrell, 72, of 349 Albany St., Burlington, N.C., passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013, at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Luther Garland Cooper and Bronna Mae Coe Tew. Mrs. Terrell was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She was a former member of the Sidney Avenue Baptist Church and was retired from B&D Hosiery Mill with 25 years of service. She was an avid plant lover as she always enjoyed planting new flowers and will be missed dearly by her cat, Socks.
Survivors include daughters, Cindy Johnson and husband David, and Melissa Smith; grandchildren, Lacy Knighten and wife Shelia, and Hannah Smith; great-grandchildren, Lake Knighten and Summer Knighten; sister Jeanette Ezzell and husband Tommy.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wesley "Bobby" Terrell.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Burial will be held in Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane with the Rev. Jonathan Graves officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home in Graham, and other times at the residence of the family.
