BURLINGTON - Mrs. Linda Kay Sperling, 60, of Burlington died suddenly at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 11:10 a.m.
A native of Norfolk, Va., she was the wife of John Henry "Rusty" Miller Jr., who survives and the daughter of the late Calvin W. Sperling and Ella Mae Watson Sperling, who survives. She was a registered nurse in the CCU/ICU at Alamance Regional Medical Center for 30 years.
In addition to her husband and mother, survivors include the son, Ross Utley (Terri); two daughters, Cassie Miller (Joshua Shupe) and Mandy Perry (John); four grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Duncan and Janet Griffin (Dub); two brothers, David Sperling (Nancy) and Joe Sperling (Amy); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Steve Joyner with the family receiving friends following the service at the funeral home.
