PROSPECT HILL - Mrs. Louise Foust Smith, 80, of 51 Rudd Road, Prospect Hill, N.C., passed away at 6:35 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2013, at the Alamance Regional Medical Center.

Born in Alamance County she was the wife of the late William Vance Smith Sr. and the daughter of the late Kerston Angus Foust and the late Margaret Patty Phillips Foust. She was a retired textile employee and a member of the Victory Chapel Wesleyan Church, Snow Camp.
Surviving her are daughters, Anna Louise Sutton and husband Buddy of New Ellenton, S.C., Pamela Simpson, of Graham, Kathy Bailey and husband Jimmy, of Graham, Teresa Gail Smith and husband Melville Journigan of Prospect Hill; son, William Vance Smith Jr. and wife Juanita of Holly Springs; 20 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; sister Glenda Faye Foust of Lebanon, Va.; brothers, Kerston Angus Foust Jr. of Graham, Henry Albert Foust of Jacksonville, N.C. and Samuel Joseph Foust of Elon, N.C.
The family will receive friends at the McClure Funeral Home, 1030 South Main St., Graham, N.C. from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, and at other times at 6612 Beale Road, Snow Camp, N.C.
The funeral service will be held at the McClure Chapel at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013, with the Rev. Raeford Brim officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel United Methodist Church cemetery, Snow Camp.
