GRAHAM - Mrs. Madeline Allison Walters, 80, of 4713 NC 87 South, Graham, died at the Hospice Home on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 2:50 a.m. following several months of declining health.
A native of Rockingham County, she was the wife of the late Kenneth L. Walters Sr. and the daughter of Herman Patterson Allison and Clara Lee Everett Allison, both deceased. She retired from Arby's and was a member of Moore's Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Sherman Isley and wife Wanda of Stuart, Va., Ricky Isley of Graham, Dwayne Isley of Newport and Randy Isley and wife Alicia of Haw River; two sisters, Magdeine Carden of Greensboro and Nancy Curtis and husband Harold of Graham; brother, Curtis Allison and wife Nancy of Graham; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
The funeral service will be conducted at Moore's Chapel Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Chris Caudle. Burial will follow in Moore's Chapel Baptist Church cemetery. The body will be taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service to lie in state.
The family received friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence of Randy Isley, 1341 North Jim Minor Road, Haw River, N.C.
