GRAHAM - Mrs. Ava Louise Roberson Couturier, 62, of Swepsonville, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after two years of failing health.
Ava was born in Alamance County and an employee of Honda Power Equipment.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen Edwards Couturier, of the home; sons, Walter Stephen Couturier and wife Rachel, of Graham, Jonathan Lee Couturier, of Minnesota, Jeremy Edwards Couturier, of Graham; seven grandchildren, five sisters and two brothers.
Ava was preceeded in death by her parents, George and Joy Lee Woods Roberson.
The family will receive friends at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, from 6 until 8 p.m. and other times at the residence.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at Hawfields Presbyterian Church with the Rev. David Ely presiding.
At the request of the family, floral tributes are acceptable or you may bring a new unwrapped toy to the visitation to be donated to the Marine Corps Toys For Tots Foundation.
