GLEN RAVEN - Mrs. Cordelia Robinson Faucette, 86, of Glen Raven, died at Edgewood Place at the Village at Brookwood on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Celo I. Faucette Sr. and the youngest child of Lake Robinson and Laura Warren Robinson, both deceased. She was a longtime member of Glen Raven First Baptist Church, where she was active until her health no longer permitted.
Cordelia is survived by three sons, Celo I. Faucette Jr. and wife, Patsy, the Rev. Arrey R. Faucette and wife, Lillian, and Tyrone Faucette and wife, Cherry; five grandchildren, the Rev. Jennifer F. Pulliam (Bryant), Timothy H. Faucette (Cleo), Audrey D. Faucette, Joy N. Faucette and Arrey R. Faucette II; eight great-grandchildren, Bryant II (Shatrell), Ryan, Nicholas, India, Marquis, Timea, Ned III and Ari; one sister, Mazie R. Nettles; her dear friend, Marie B. Sellars; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 16 brothers and sisters.
The funeral service will be conducted at Glen Raven First Baptist Church on Monday, Aug. 19, at 11 a.m. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services. The Rev. Joe D. Miles III will officiate and the Rev. Maurice Boswell will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow at Deep Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family visitation will be Sunday, Aug. 18 from 6 until 7 p.m. at Sharpe Funeral Home, Burlington. At other times the family will receive friends at the home of Celo and Patsy Faucette, 124 Faucette Ave., Glen Raven N.C.
The family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful staff and volunteers of Edgewood Place and Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels in honor of Mrs. Faucette.
