BURLINGTON - Oma Odell Cobb Bulla, 93, passed away Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at 9:25 a.m. at White Oak Manor Nursing Home in Burlington.

A native of Caswell County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Andrew Cobb and the late Annie Thompson Stadler Cobb Roach. She worked at Western Electric and AT&T Guilford Center for 32 years. After retirement in 1982, she loved and worked in her yard and flower garden. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a son, Roger Dean Bulla of Yanceyville; a daughter, Kay Bulla Dawson (William R.) of Mebane; six grandchildren, Rick Bulla, Derek Bulla, Shawn Bulla, Lisa D. Fulghum (Stuart), Kelly Dawson and Sharon Dawson; two great-grandchildren, Dawson Fulghum and Justin Bulla; two sisters-in-law, Caroline Cobb and June Bulla; a very special friend, Caroline B. Rogers; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Colon M. Bulla; and brother, John A. Cobb.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Pine Hill Cemetery in Burlington by the Rev. Darryl Massey.
