BURLINGTON - Ms. Roslyn Renee Lee, aka Ms. Roz, 51, of 1112 N. Anthony St., died March 24, 2013 at the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell.
She was the daughter of Mr. James Jackson Sr. and Ms. Mary E. Jones, both deceased.
She worked as a retail clerk for Wal-Mart and enjoyed modeling, singing, dancing, taking pictures and listening to Old School Music.
Survivors include son, DiAndré LaMarr Lee, of the home; brother, Jonathan Jackson of the home; sisters, Donzella Olivia Jones (Vickie) of Newbergh, N.Y. and Barbara Kaye Jones of Burlington, N.C.; aunts, Claudine L. Jones of Asheboro, N.C. and Betty L. Parker of LaPlace, La.; four nieces, Patricia Jones of Burlington, Sheron Jones Coleman (Lorenzo) of Richmond, Va., Essence A. Snipes of Elon, N.C. and Karin J. Lynn of Reidsville, N.C.; one great-niece; three great-nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip S. Jones.
The public viewing will be Thursday from noon until 8 p.m. in the Roy Blackwell Chapel of Blackwell Funeral Home, Burlington. The wake will take place from 7 until 8 p.m. and at other times the family will receive visitors at the residence.
The funeral will be conducted Friday, March 29, 2013 at 2 p.m. at New Joy One Accord Holiness Church on Hazel Drive in Burlington. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service, with the family arriving at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Blackwell Funeral Home, Burlington, N.C.
