REIDSVILLE - Mr. Royzell Bowden, 78, of 2574 Turner Road, died July 12, 2012, at Alamance Healthcare.
He was the son of Mr. Albert Bowden and Mrs. Tinnie Coble Bowden, both deceased.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Williamson Bowden, of the home; four children, pastor Michael Bowden (Ruth), Ronnie Bowden (Ida) and Bonnie Moore, all of Greensboro, and Gail Worth (Dale), of Mebane, and a stepdaughter, Tammie Wilson, of Reidsville; two brothers, George Bowden and Thomas (Lizzie) Bowden, both of Mebane; sisters, Dorothy (Virgil) Curtis and Mildred Anderson, both of Greensboro, Lillian Flowers and Helen Mebane, both of Burlington; eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, July 17, at 2 p.m. at New Ephesus Baptist Church.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church Tuesday, and at other times, the family will receive visitors at the home.
A public viewing will be held Monday from 1 to 9 p.m. at Sharpe Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
