BURLINGTON - Mrs. Shirley Bullock Capps, 43, of 235 Willie Pace Road, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 at her home after a sudden illness.
Born in Person County, she was the daughter of the late James Junior Bullock and the late Fannie Hazel Shouff Bullock and was married for over four years to John Lee Capps, who survives.
She was employed with Meadwestvaco Corporation and loved fishing and gardening. Shirley was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Capps is survived by her husband, of the home; daughter, Elizabeth Faith Wilson and husband, Armando Jimenez, of Burlington; grandson, Ignacio Jimenez; two sisters, Faye Pendall of South Boston, Va. and Cathy Evans of Haw River; and three brothers, Ronnie Bullock of Hurdle Mills, Nelson Bullock and Charles Bullock, both of Prospect Hill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Bobby Bullock.
A cryptside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 at the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service and at other times at the residence.
