BURLINGTON - Mr. William Frank Czagas, 75, of Burlington, died suddenly at his residence on the evening of Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013.

A native of Newark, N.J., he was the husband of the late Virginia Mann Czagas and the son of Frank Czagas and Catherine Marie Meyer Czagas, both deceased. He was employed with AT&T and The Molding Company. William was also treasurer for the North Eastern Alamance Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church where he was a Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include four children, William Frederick Czagas and wife Debra of Burlington, Matthew Czagas and wife Lynne of Burlington, Steven Czagas of the home and Lisa Czagas of Raleigh; granddaughter, Kristy Harris of Durham; and brother, John Czagas of Florida.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Neal Salter. Burial will follow in Long's Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
