SEDALIA - Mr. Curtis Jeffries, 65, of 609 Sedalia Rd., died February 11, 2014, at his residence.
He was the husband of Mrs. Marian Walker Jeffries, who survives.
He was the son of Mr. Willie Jeffries and Mrs. Pauline Mebane Jeffries, both deceased.
Survivors include his loving wife Mrs. Marian W. Jeffries, of the home; one daughter, Ms. Annissa Jeffries, of Arizona; stepdaughter, Mrs. Lynn Brown (Michael), of Creedmoor, N.C.; one sister, Mrs. Willie Mae Evans (Joseph), of Mebane; two grandchildren, Brandon Jeffries and Tierra Horton, both of Arizona; and two stepgrandchildren, Wynston and Sydney Brown, both of Creedmoor, N.C.
Mr. Jeffries was a 1967 graduate of Jordan Sellars High School and was an employee of Duke Energy with 35 years of service. He was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church and a U.S. veteran with two years in the Marines Corps and 27 years in the Army Reserve.
Funeral services are scheduled for noon, Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Locust Grove Baptist Church, 4707 E. N.C. 150, Brown Summit, N.C.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Sharpe Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the home. A public viewing will start on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
