Mrs. Mary Frances Wray Blackburn, formerly of High Point and a resident of Alamance County since 2005, died Friday, February 21, 2014 at The Oaks of Alamance.

Mrs. Blackburn was a native of Thomasville and the wife of the late Harvey R. Blackburn and the late Joe B. Wray. She was the daughter of the late John Pierce and the late Hazel Batten Rudisill.
Mrs. Blackburn was retired from Kayby Hosiery in Thomasville and was a past member of Lebanon United Methodist Church in High Point.
She is survived by her daughter, Geneva Blackburn Farlow of Mebane; two grandchildren, Lisa Farlow Wilson (Mike) of Mebane and Cindy Farlow Nason (Randall) also of Mebane; four great-grandchildren, Billy Owens, Jr., Jordan Wilson, Taylor Wilson and Madison Nason, two sisters-in-law, Judy Pierce and Judy Rudisill; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
A funeral service will be held Monday, February 24, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington. Burial will follow in Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery in High Point.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the service. Other times they will be at the home of her daughter, Geneva Farlow.
