BURLINGTON - Mrs. Gloria Louise Warren Graves, 73, of 624 Crestview Drive, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014, at Alamance Health Care.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Norman Eugene Graves who survives and the daughter of william Dace Warren and Eva Pennix Warren, both deceased.
Mrs. Graves was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee Crisp and two brothers, Carl Lacy Warren and Leroy Warren.
In addition to her husband of Charlotte she is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Ann Turner of Burlington, Laura Crisp Johnson (Jim) of Jonesboro, Ga. and Laverne Crisp Spaulding (Dow) of Graham; a stepdaughter, Melissa Graves Heyward (Eugene) of Charlotte; three sons, Kenneth Lee Turner of Anderson, Joseph Crisp Jr. and Michael Lynn Crisp, both of Burlington; a stepson, Michael Eugene Graves of Gibsonville; seven sisters, Christine Sawyer (Haywood), Landa Peterkin (Morris), both of Greensboro, Nannie Pettiford, Mary Milton, both of Burlington, Martha Foust (Jerry), Minister Jessie Vinson (Troy), both of Graham and Betty Hodge of Ft. Washington, Md.; one brother, Billy Gene Warren (Shirley) of Green Level; 10 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. friends.
Mrs. Graves' funeral service will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014, at noon at Ebenezer UCC. Burial will follow in Miles Chapel Baptist Church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon at the church with the family arriving at 11:30 a.m. The family will receive friends at the home of Minister Jessie Vinson, 420 Washington St., in Graham. Public viewing will be held on Friday from 1 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
