GRAHAM - Mrs. Meredith Mae Grann Foote, 75, of 404 Banks Street, Graham, NC, passed away on Friday May 23, 2014 at her residence.
She is a native of Livingston County, NY and she was the daughter of the late George L Sr. and Almyra Weipert Grann. Mrs. Foote was a mother to everyone, always showing love and hospitality. Her love was her grandchildren and the Lord, as her life reflected her love for both. She was an avid cook, cake decorator and loved to work with crafts. She had previously worked with Bojangles' and was a "Master Biscuit Maker" for a number of years. She also had worked with Van Heusen and Food Lion as a cashier as well as an office manager at Liberty Church. She was proudly a charter member of The River Fellowship Church in Gibsonville where she loved the Lord and her Church family.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Foote, of the home; daughters, Susan Clark and husband Bobby, of Graham, Sheri Jones and husband Dale, of Elon, and Amy Workman and husband Bobby, of Graham; son, Steven Foote and wife Chris, of Mebane; grandchildren, Jason and Tyler Foote, Daniel and James Clark, Josh and Keri Jones, Lauren, Bradley, Victoria, and Nathan Workman; great grandchildren, Matthew, Caleb, and Andrew Clark, and Lilly Grace Jones; sister, Suzane Ruch, of NY.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, George Grann Jr.; grandson, Derek Jones; and great grandchildren, Payton Clark and Daniel Robert Clark Jr.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday May 28, 2014 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Rev. Todd Martin and the Rev. Pete Beck III officiating. Entombment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday May 27, 2014 at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham, and other times at the residence of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may made to the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance/Caswell at 918 Chapel Hill Rd. Burlington, NC 27215.
