BURLINGTON - Kathleen Qualls Porter, 92, of 720 Loop Road, passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Porter was a native of Caswell County and was the wife of the late Johnny Wilbert Porter and the daughter of the late John Alan Qualls and the late Rose Marie Penny Qualls.
Mrs. Porter was a retired textile worker and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Porter was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Lee Porter; a sister, Fallie Shough; and her brothers, Harvey Myers and Floyd Myers.
She is survived by her children, Martha Etta Hill and husband William of Kenly, N.C., Bobby A. Porter and wife Margaret of Farmville, Robert Wilbert Porter and girlfriend Lisa of Graham, Richard Eugene Porter and girlfriend, Linda of Advance, Agnes Young and husband Henry of Burlington, Mattie Mae Porter of Burlington, Kenneth Tommie Porter and wife Vickie of Caswell County and Judy Taylor and husband John of Burlington; 23 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Aug, 7, 2014, from 10 until 11 a.m. at Rich and Thompson Funeral Service in Burlington. At other times they will be at the residence.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in Pine Hill Cemetery.
