FAYETTEVILLE - SPC Justin DeShawn Moore, 21, died July 30, 2014, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital.

He was the son of Mr. Lawrence Williams and Ms. Melody Moore who survive.
SPC Moore was a 2011 graduate of Orange High School. SPC Moore was a Water Treatment Specialist with 82nd Airborne Division. He received the Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and an Army Service Ribbon.
Survivors other than his parents are two sisters, SFC Candice Bradsher of Ft. Carson, Colo., and Lauren Dominique Allen of Cedar Grove; paternal grandparents, Minervia Riley and Thomas Smith; maternal grandparents, James Calvin Moore Sr. and Inice Lea Moore; aunts, Patsy Alston, Eyvonne Williams and Stephanie Moore; uncles, Tim Smith, Harry Williams, Anthony Smith and Eric Moore.
Public viewing will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Sharpe Funeral Home.
The funeral service celebrating the life of Justin Moore will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at Johnson's Chapel AME Church. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the church and at other times, at the home of his grandmother, Minervia Riley, 407½ Jackson St., Mebane. Burial will be in Hunters Chapel Church cemetery.
