BURLINGTON - Mr. Cameron Vaughn, 53, of 2222 Young St., died Aug. 13, 2014, at the V.A. Medical Center in Durham.

He was the son of Mr. Herbert Walter Vaughn and Mrs. Doris Vincent Vaughn, both deceased.
He was employed by Glen Raven Mills. He was a 1979 graduate of Eastern Alamance High School and served in the United States Army. He loved to fish, play softball and basketball.
Survivors include a son, Carrison Vaughn of Stuttgart, Ark.; two daughters, Camera Vaughn of Arkansas and Sheniqua Paylor of Graham; four sisters, Dianna Russell of Burlington, Lois Snipes of the home, Beth Gilmore (Marlowe) of Lacey, Washington and Brenda Trollinger of Burlington; two grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, the Rev. Keith Vaughn.
Public viewing will be Saturday, Aug. 16 from 1 to 8 p.m. in the Roy Blackwell Chapel.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, in the Roy Blackwell Chapel of Blackwell Funeral Home in Burlington.
Visitation will be Sunday, Aug. 17, one hour prior to the service with the family arriving at 1:30 p.m. At other times the family will receive friends at the home.
