TRAVELERS REST, S.C. - Kenneth William Jarrett, 48, passed away on Aug. 13, 2014, at Hospice of the Carolinas in Landrum, S.C.
He was a Master Brick and Stone Mason of the Christian faith.
He was the husband of a loving and devoted wife, Laura Gannon Jarrett, and was the son of Helen Wagoner Jarrett and the late Robert Lee Jarrett of Gibsonville. In addition, he is survived by son, Kenneth Robert Jarrett; daughter, Scarlett Victoria Lynn Jarrett, all of the home; stepson, Justin Simpson and stepdaughter, Lindsey Simpson, both of Jacksonville, N.C.; sister, LaDonna Jarrett Greeson and husband Scott of Gibsonville; mother-in-law Dorothy Bowman Bodkin and husband Jim of Greensboro; father-in-law, S.G. Gannon and wife Frances of Pelzer, S.C. and brother-in-law, Kendall Gannon and wife Anita of McLeansville.
Kenneth will be sorely missed by fellow brick mason Keith Moseley who has been his buddy since third grade.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014, at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 300 Knox Road, McLeansville, NC.
