GRAHAM - Mr. Ron Howard, 55, of 5538 Thompson Mill Road, Graham died at his residence on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 following four years failing health.
Mr. Howard was born February 17, 1954 in Roane County, Tenn. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his mother, Carol McQueen of Burlington; his father and stepmother, Madison Howard and wife Linda of Graham; a sister, Susan Howard Capps and husband Ken of Burlington; two brothers, David Howard and wife Janet of Kathleen, Ga. and Gary Howard and wife Sherrie of Asheville; two nephews, Nic Howard and wife Bettina of Charlotte and Michael Montgomery of Burlington; one niece, Jennifer White and husband T.J. of Whitsett; stepbrother, Gary McQueen and wife Janet of Farmville, Va.; and three stepsisters, Patricia Coleman and husband Keith of Cedar Grove, June Zimmerman and husband Chris of Burlington and Tina Coble and husband David of Greensboro.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Larry Lambert and the Rev. Ben Bishop. Burial will be at St. Mark's Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence of his mother, Carol McQueen, 2216 Delaney Drive, Burling-ton, N.C.
