Adam Braddy Obituary
He is survived by his parents, David C. and Angie Hughes Braddy of the home and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Annie Laurie Braddy, Bobby and Mae Hughes and uncles, Steve and Mike Braddy.
Adam was an energetic young man and had the personality to match. He had a smile as big and bright as the sun and could make you laugh in a minute. He loved his family and his friends and loved working with the little children at the church. Adam was always a help to those with special needs.
A celebration of Adam's life will be held Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 4 p.m. at the Wicker Street Baptist Church in Burlington by Rev. Chris Haizlip. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have shown their love, thoughtfulness and compassion toward them at this difficult time.
Memorials may be made to the Cape Fear Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 705, Carolina Beach, NC 28428.
The family will be at the home of his aunt, Mrs. Liz Bean, 1044 Pineland Drive, Graham, NC 27253

Angie & Family, please know that we send our greatest sympathy to you, and also our prayers to the Lord for peace and comfort somehow during this time. We are grateful to learn about your son's life and ministry, and his trusting in the Lord as his Saviour. You can sense God's love in Adam's beautiful smile, and through his love for working with children. To the Braddy Family, Angie and David I am so sorry that you are going thru this phase in your life where you are dealing with the loss of your child. I cant begin to know how you feel. I do know that we are promised that God will comfort us and help us during the times we need him most if we all but ask. I pray that you will find peace and comfort in knowing that Adam is in His Fathers arms at this moment and everyone who is saved will be seeing him again one day. Angie, I know I have not seen or talked to you since High School, but know you are in my prayers and if you need anything please let me know. Angie & David, I am sooooo sorry for your loss. I met Adam thru my granddaughter Ryanne and daughter Amanda.
He is someone I will never forget. I enjoyed seeing him on my visits to Carolina Beach. This message is to let you know that others really care. I pray you find strength in the days ahead and know that you are thought of during this time of sorrow.

When I hear Adam's name I immediately smile. He cracked me up at ACS where I was priviledged enough to be his teacher. I remember him coming in from recess and sweating like a pig and asking to get more water. Then, 10 minutes later we are looking for him. He was a joy and I'm so sorry for your loss. Only our Saviour can understand. We love you and will hold you in our prayers.

I am sorry for your loss and hope God will give you comfort. I have alway's been told God only takes the best, and we know where Adam is. I didn't know him personally only thru my granddaughter Jessica Glosson, & her friend Rebekah Jolly. I know he was very Loved by a lot of people. I was at the funeral home and could tell how special he was.

Your loss is felt by so many who have known Adam at various times in his short life. We remember Adam the most during our Friendship Baptist Church days and also at ACS. You have always been a special part of our lives and always will be! God is in control and His love will give you the comfort you need to cling to the knowledge that you WILL see Adam one day again in Heaven. Thank you for sharing his spiritual birthday for others to see. Even in these hurtful times, you are still sharing the love of God and His saving grace.
