BURLINGTON - Mr. Worth Garner Lineberry, of 2634 Berkley Road, Burlington, died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.

A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Charles Lineberry and the late Amy Truitt Lineberry Pyle.
Mr. Lineberry retired, after 38 years of service, from Associated Transport. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and attended Piedmont Presbyterian Church, where he was a member of the Men's Bible Class. He was also a member of the Haw River American Legion and was a charter member of the Burlington Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his son, Charles Worth Lineberry of Burlington; his daughter, Wanda Grant of Burlington; a grandson, Christopher Emmanuel Moore of Burlington; nephews, Robert Lineberry and wife Debra, of Burlington and their children, Jennifer Lineberry Best, Amy Lineberry, Matthew Lineberry and Daniel Lineberry and Darrell Andrews and wife Mae, of Greensboro, and their children, Robbie Andrews and Karen Andrews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Andrews; and his brother, Howard Lineberry.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 14, from 1 until 2:30 p.m. at Rich and Thompson Funeral Service in Burlington. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. in Alamance Memorial Park.
