GRAHAM - Mr. James Franklin "Frank" Kizziah Jr., 87, of 3007 Glenwood Drive, Graham, died at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 at 2:17 p.m.

A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Earlene Mabrey Kizziah and the son of James Franklin Kizziah Sr. and Annie Barber Kizziah, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II and retired from Burlington Industries with 43 years of service. Frank was a member of Bellemont United Methodist Church, the Golden Agers and Mountainview Ruritan Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Diane K. Wood and husband Earl of Lancaster, S.C. and Janice Carol Kizziah and husband Dave Asher of Graham; two sons, Barry Kizziah and wife Betsi of Burlington and Danny L. Raby and wife Christa of Snow Camp; eight grandchildren, Stuart Raby and wife Nina, Yvonne Strickland and husband Johnny, Eric Raby, Jamie L. Wood, Jennifer Baldwin and husband Richard, Molly Albright, Cassidy Kizziah and Ragan Kizziah; six great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister, Brenda Smith and husband Hugh of Burlington; and two brothers, Jack Kizziah and wife Pat and Gene Kizziah and wife Ruth, all of Burlington.
He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Ray Raby; and two sisters, Margie Allen and Mary Lou Barker.
The funeral service will be conducted at Bellemont United Methodist Church on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Farron Duncan. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence.
