PORT SAINT LUCIE, Fla. - Robert V. Riley, 81, a resident of Port Saint Lucie for 16 years, departed this life Thursday, March 7, 2013.
Mr. Riley was born in Efland, N.C. and moved to Port Saint Lucie from Milford, Kan. He was a Chief Warrant Officer and 32 year veteran of the United States Army, having served two tours in the Vietnam War and being awarded two Bronze Stars.
Mr. Riley is survived by his wife, Virginia Riley.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Mt. Zion Christian Church, 3210 Mt. Zion Church Road, Mebane, N.C. 27302. Interment will follow at a later date at South Florida National Cemetery with full military honors.
